Traktor pro

Hi, is there a way to run traktor pro software with my daw? When I have Ableton live 11 playing a beat then try to run traktor pro software in the remix decks with F 1 controller, they both can't play at they same time, is there a solution for this maybe a audio interface? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

It sounds like a Windows port limitation. Are you with PC?

What driver are you using? Windows WASAPI (Exclusive)? ASIO?
I believe this should work fine with asio. Multiple programs should be able to send to the audio interface.

I believe that issue is MIDI. More info is needed but I think that OP is trying to control multiple applications with a single midi controller. Audio can be shared but midi cannot.

Oh indeed. On windows only one program can use a midi device. There are software solution to get around that. But a bit iffy.
He says "they can't play at the same time" and talking about audio. Sounds a bit like WASAPI (Exclusive) which would block other software from playing any sounds.

I don't know what OS author is using, but Windows 11 and Xone K2 with simple midi mapping can control even 5 running applications at the same time with one knob. For example Maschine, Ableton Live Lite, Traktor, Mixxx, Bitwig can be controlled with one controller all up and running at the same time without any workarounds. I'm now using Richie Hawint's script fot Bitwig and Traktor on Windows 11 and there is Traktor and Bitwig layout (both buttons, faders and knobs) on my two K2 controllers and they are working perfectly fine with Traktor and Bitwig running at the same time.
