Is it possible to sync the Tremolo articlation in Electric Sunburst Deluxe's Melody instrument?
Hi! Is it possible for SESSION GUITARIST ELECTRIC SUNBURST DELUXE melody instrument's tremolo articulation preset (when used as VST plugin in Cubase) to sync with Cubase tempo (even when Cubase is set to triplets, the tremolo articulation preset plays triplets as well in sync)?

@mraak47 I imagine you are referring to the Tremolo articulation in the Melody instrument here?
The tremolo is unaffected by tempo, Kontakt's internal or the DAW's tempo and can't be synced. The Melody instrument is not like the pattern based instrument in that aspect.

Trying to recall…it depends if you want automatic sync or manual. Setting up everything as it is in the daw should be possible, having it automatically done by the program not, if I recall correctly

Hi LostInFoundation and thanks for the info! So, if I set up Cubase project to triplets, then load the SESSION GUITARIST ELECTRIC SUNBURST DELUXE (the tremolo articulation preset) as VST plugin into track, it should play/record in triplets and in sync?

Hi Jeremy! Thank you so much for the info! So if I understand correctly, tremolo articulation in melody instrument is a sampled tremolo and not a Kontakt engine generated sequence of repeated notes so therefore the tempo cannot be changed right? The articulation is shown on SESSION GUITARIST: ELECTRIC SUNBURST DELUXE Walkthrough video at 1:14 mark

Hi, but can I do tremolo picking with the pattern instrument? Is there the pattern to choose that plays simple note repetition, imitating tremolo picking (with alternating between down and upstrokes samples so that it doesn't sound too robotic)? And if yes, if this pattern instrument is loaded as a plugin in DAW, can repetition tempo be synced and also changed within DAW? Thanks!

What about just applying a tremolo fx plugin after Electric Sunburst?
In this way you’ll have control over it

Hi, Jeremy! Thank you so much for the info! How about using arpeggiator feature in new Kontrol S Mk3 keyboards? Do Mk3 keyboards have arpeggiator on board that can be configured as note repeats? For example, AKAI MPC Key 61 keyboard has arpeggiator feature which has a preset named Note repeat so I just click this preset and arpeggiator repeats note(s).

At the moment the arpeggiator is still managed by the software on the computer.
As per NI statement, they are working on making Play assist be managed directly by the keyboard (only the MK3)

@mraak47 Well, Mk1 and MK2 keyboards already have arp functions, if you have a keyboard that has an arpeggiator it should work too, you can also find arpeggiatr plug-ins too, depending on your DAW, I assume there is an arp in Cubase too. The result might not be that realistic.
