Hi! Is it possible for SESSION GUITARIST ELECTRIC SUNBURST DELUXE melody instrument's tremolo articulation preset (when used as VST plugin in Cubase) to sync with Cubase tempo (even when Cubase is set to triplets, the tremolo articulation preset plays triplets as well in sync)?

Trying to recall…it depends if you want automatic sync or manual. Setting up everything as it is in the daw should be possible, having it automatically done by the program not, if I recall correctly

Hi LostInFoundation and thanks for the info! So, if I set up Cubase project to triplets, then load the SESSION GUITARIST ELECTRIC SUNBURST DELUXE (the tremolo articulation preset) as VST plugin into track, it should play/record in triplets and in sync?

@mraak47 I imagine you are referring to the Tremolo articulation in the Melody instrument here?

The tremolo is unaffected by tempo, Kontakt's internal or the DAW's tempo and can't be synced. The Melody instrument is not like the pattern based instrument in that aspect.

Hi Jeremy! Thank you so much for the info! So if I understand correctly, tremolo articulation in melody instrument is a sampled tremolo and not a Kontakt engine generated sequence of repeated notes so therefore the tempo cannot be changed right? The articulation is shown on SESSION GUITARIST: ELECTRIC SUNBURST DELUXE Walkthrough video at 1:14 mark

@mraak47 Exactly. You got it right, it was sampled this way and there's no way to change the speed or tempo.
