What fx? Where is the fx? Do you always load the same project or is it also in a brand new project?

The fx is always on, even in a brand new project.i tried to delete Maschine 2 folder to reset to wich I guess is factory settings but this sound is still everywhere and i lost all my starter projects. I think its from playing around with Playbox or Duets..i havent got any vst loaded that i can see...but I spend so litte time with my hardware and software as I Farm 16hrs a day and grab every chance i get...like I said newbie deluxe here...hope this helps.

    What kind effect is it?

If it affects any sound you load, then the effect is either in the Group (A) or Master level. Have you checked the effect sections of Group and Master?

    It's like a grainy fuzz..

I tried maschine 2 in my DAW (studio 6) and it works perfect and as soon as I enter maschine 2 by it self, effect is there again..I use micro mk3 as controller. I checked master and group and nothing is loaded up.

So…we are not talking about an fx, are we? If the problem is that you have noise when using Maschine in standalone while not when using it as a VST, I would check the differences in the audio settings in the 2 situations. Maybe something that you have set up differently in Maschine preferences than in Studio One is causing the issue

Do you happen to have an input selected as active in the audio input tab? Could be input noise?

Wondering if this could be a MIDI loop? What are your prefernces in MIDI input & output?

    Hi all..

    Thank you for your suggestions..

All audio inputs are not connected...should this be right?

Midi preferences are Input: Maschine Mikro 3

    Output: Maschine Mikro 3

On Kontakt 7,Massive,Reaktor as standalone sound is perfect, on Maschine 2 my library is now gone..so I cant even listen to anything if ai make changes...not sure what's going on as my equipment is brand new out the box, I have been playing around on and off for last month..I'm sure it's an operator[Me!] fault and I probably dont ask the right questions as im still figuring this out..

Thank you once again for taking the time.

Are you sure the Maschine Browser is set to Factory and not to User? In the software this is reflected by a small human silhouette.

Do you have an expression pedal connected?
