Hi,

I am trying to find where I can set up the lenght of the Maschine drag and drop wave file?

If i try to user the drag audio into my daw, I get some silly size, like 6 bars.

(with like 5 bars of silence behind the file)

That is even if i have short loop in Maschine. (1 bar)

Is there some audio drag and drop setting that I'm missing?

Kind regards

It uses the audio export settings. Switch to loop optimize if you want to keep the length short

Maschine's exports attempt to export ALL audio. If you have some sort of reverb or lofi effect that has a tail or a noise floor that's not literal silence; it's going to try to capture it until literal silence.

(caveat: I've not used it on my computer in a while; so not sure if they've addressed it)

I used to put a gate on my master bus when exporting just so I don't end up with an extra 40 bars of nothing. The same thing likely applies here.

    Thanks for your reply.

That one is fine, what I meant is the extra silence after you drag the audio export file from the... pattern editor

After setting it to optimize for loop, it did seem to fix the drag and drop issues I was having. Weird place to put that preference, it should also be in the general preferences in my opinion of a UI/UX designer and user of this product for 10+ years.
