How do you limit keyboard ranges on a synth?

Hi

I'd like to have separate synths covering area of the keyboard, like a split or key grouping ie

synth no1 does C-D

synth no.2 does E-G

...so like a sampler key grouping

Can anyone suggest an easy way to do this ?
