How to utilize my library on two different machines?

I have the ultimate collectors edition of Komplete loading and functioning on my Mac Studio with the library loaded on an external drive. My question is can I, and if so, how do I also have access to my library on my portable Mac book?

I had it all downloaded on the drive and running on the mac book first, but I had to delete and reinstall for it all to work on the studio. I am sure I am missing something really simple.

I bought a new external drive specifically to house the library for use with the mac book. Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.

You just need to have Native Access on both computers.

Then, you can chose if you want to install the libraries on both or just on a single external drive that you move from one to the other.

If you have the libraries already installed on an internal disk on the studio, what you can do now is copy them to the external drive, plug it in the Mac book and there open NA and instead of installing them again just chose “locate” (hovering on their name it will appear on the right) and point to the directory in the external drive.

Way faster than downloading them and installing them again

Thank you for your response. Its weird, I figured that was supposed to be how it works, but instead when I previously launched Native Access from my MacBook it showed all files needed to be repaired. I seem to be able to access them now, however. Thank you!
