Consistent Magic Mouse/mouse wheel control over menus and parameters in ALL Komplete software
Hi!
Any time I start using a new Komplete instrument or plug-in, I never know whether or not sliding my finger on my Magic Mouse or using a mouse wheel will control the various parameters onscreen. It's completely hit and miss.
In some instruments this works flawlessly, like Battery 4, for example. I can slide my finger on the Magic Mouse or use a mouse wheel to control nobs and sliders no problem. However, this is not at all consistent across NI or NKS products and it's REALLY annoying.
An example of where the same control is completely absent, is Pharlight. Sliding my finger on the Magic Mouse or using a mouse wheel will not move any nobs or sliders onscreen. Everything has to be clicked and dragged, which is a HORRIBLE way to work.
These are just two examples. There are MANY more. It seems like a no-brainer to have this kind of functionality built in. Is there a reason it works in some products and not others?
Thanks.

Maybe @EvilDragon knows why some libraries don't support a mouse wheel?

Kontakt libraries in general don't support mousewheel interaction.

@EvilDragon thanks.
It's such a pain in the ass working with them when away from my S61. So many extra clicks, clicks and more clicks. I wonder why they don't support magic or wheel mouse?
