Kontakt 7 player crashes protools

Hey Guys,

Im on an iMac pro Ventura and just updated to Protools Ultimate version 2023.6. Now anytime I try to open Kontakt 7 it crashes. The error I get is "The Plug-in WaveShell3-AAX 10.0 has crashed."

Ive seen a lot of post of ppl having this issue but no results in fixing this. Do I need to downgrade protools for it to work again?

this is neither a Kontakt, neither a Pro Tools crash/issue.

The faulty plugin are from Waves plugins, and the cause is because that version is too old and known to cause problems in Pro Tools. You should either update your Waves plugins, either remove that specific AAX and use VST3 instead.
