Lores Instrument Stage Automation

When working with Lores, my DAW (Cubase Pro 12) will record automation data when moving the XY pad controls (Instrument Stage - position and pan) but will not play them back. Anybody else have this issue and have a solution? Thanks in advance.

Are you recording your automation through Read & Write options?
Or you just click the Record button?
