Is there a way to import samples using Maschine mk3 with NI Accessibility Helper?

Hi all,

I'm a visually impaired producer who has recently started using a Maschine mk3 using NI's amazing new NI Accessibility Helper software. I am so thankful for how this tool has opened up use of Maschine to me

!

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to import my own wav files as samples in an accessible manner using the Maschine mk3 and Accessibility Helper. Some searches have seemed to indicate that through the Browser in User mode there might be a File option to browse directories on my laptop; however I haven't gotten this to work.

Is there a way to do this while using the Accessibility Helper?

Alternately, is there any way I could add user samples manually outside of Maschine 2, e.g. by placing them in a user content directory? I'm comfortable using both Finder and the macOS Terminal to move stuff around and/or run scripts.

I'm on a MacBook Air running macOS Monterey 12.6.3 with the most up-to-date versions of NI software available through Native Access, if that helps.

I don’t know the degree you are talking about when you say you are comfortable using Finder to move stuff around, but if drag and drop is feasible for you, just picking a wav sample in finder and dropping it on a free pad slot in Maschine software will load it on this pad. If this is an easy task for you, maybe is the easier way to do it

Thanks much! Sorry, I meant that I can move files around using Finder via macOS's VoiceOver screen reader.

Unfortunately, since the pads in Maschine 2 software aren't accessible (don't show up as objects that VoiceOver can interact with), I can't drop them using this accessibility feature.

My apologies as that was not very clear in my initial question.
