Setting up electronic hi-hat with Studio Drummer

Hi all, I just bought Studio Drummer to use with my e-drum kit and I'm trying to figure out how to map the hi hat controls correctly. Is there a dedicated hi-hat option that controls the various stages of open and close? Right now, all I'm able to do is map a single sound on to my hat and pedal, and the pedal doesn't seem to control the sound of the hats at all.
