Hi everyone, I gently bought a Maschine MK1 (circa 2012 model) on eBay and made the mistake of not getting the software with it.

Does anyone know how I could buy this software from NI.

I have tired the help desk but I cannot find a way to raise a ticket and they are not answering emails.

Thanks

The latest version of Maschine software is what you need, it can handle perfectly the Maschine MK1

When I try to buy this it provides an advisory saying that I need the original software and licence to use the upgrade and unfortunately I do not have these.

    Thanks N

The first driver, for the OS X 10.9-10.11 should work fine.

    Good Evening,

My name is Greg and I would like to "piggy-back" off of this topic, could you please tell me would a hardware serial number be needed in order to purchase the item referenced below? Thank you very much.

@greggybud @Sunborn It's not possible, you need a Maschine device/serial to get the Maschine software.

    Good Morning Jeremy,

Allow to explain the situation for my NI Maschine 1.

This hardware was purchased from Sam Ash during it's "last days" it was offered as "AS-IS" with the disclaimer that it either "did not work" or "did not start".

I purchased the Maschine 1 anyway.

I purchased "the proper USB" cord and when I tried to see what would happen I saw that it did "light up" for a second, so I thought the Maschine did somehow work.

I downloaded the Maschine Controller 301 into my computer, then I plugged up the Maschine to my computer and to my delight the Maschine lighted up and stayed lit up.

My next step was to see about software, and then I read your message above.

I guess that the next question would be it possible if Native Instruments could provide me with a

"mock-up/administrative dummy serial number" for you see the Maschine 1 that acquired from Sam Ash did not come with a serial number (see the accompanying attachment).

If it helps matters any I am also including "coined" photo's, which are photo's dated with my name and today's date signifying that I am in possession/ownership of the Maschine 1.

I will also include a photo of the receipt for the purchase of the Maschine 1.

Any assistance towards this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you again.

    Greg

Hi thread, I have a similar problem and I'm hoping @jeremy_NI , you might be able to shed some light on this.

I have a Maschine Mk1 bought 10-11 years ago, I haven't used it since that time and would like to use it again. I have all the original packaging including the serial number which I have registered with Native Access but no Maschine software is available in Native Access

I have a new MacBook Pro M3 running MacOS 14.4 Sonoma.

Is it possible to get my Maschine Mk1 Hardware working with this laptop setup?

I have tried installing the Maschine Controller 2.8.0 driver but it fails to install

    Any help is greatly appreciated

Maschine Mk1 isn‘t supported from macOS 10.15 Catalina onwards. Maschine 1 software won‘t work on modern macOS versions either. For that reason Native Access doesn‘t offer installation (not sure if it ever required NA at all or just old Service Center software).

@Matt - OCDJ Unfortunately not supported, @maniacintosh81 explained it very well.
