How to use maschine micro for GarageBand midi

I figured it out several months ago but I haven't had the chance to play with it recently and now I forgot...anyone know how?

I have all the drivers, software, etc., installed, but when i try to use it for GarageBand midi, it doesn't work. GarageBand shows 1 midi input available but then the maschine doesn't show up

I wanna say what I had to do before involved changing a setting or starting a "new song" or something on the maschine software component

Is the Mikro MK3 working in Maschine in standalone?

Does the Mikro MK3 show in your Audio MIDI setup? You can fnd this in Applications -> Utilities
