maschine mk3 serial number error
bought a brand new maschine mk3 off of sweetwater. i got it in the mail earlier and when i enter the serial i get “an error has occurred processing your serial”. any help? i didn’t buy the item from my native instruments account so surely that has nothing to do with it right? i’m just asking here because i heard the customer support wait times are long..

For this kind of errors, changing Native Access version does not make much sense.

It doesn’t matter if you didn’t buy it from your NI account (and therefore NI site).
What it should do now is exactly registering it to your account once you put the serial in Native Access.
But Native Access lately is in a big mess…

yeah no idea why this is going on. any other hard wares or software run as soon as i enter the serial. i literally just bought this and want to enjoy it while i have time off but i’m not finding much information on it on google and i’ll probably have to wait days for support to reply

If you want you can try to install previous version of NA to see if it gets better (as they suggest in this thread to give an alternative to the malfunctioning of latest releases:

I’m having this exact issue. So far, I’ve received the same email reply from support five times. I keep sending them the info they’re asking for but still no email acknowledging it. Coincidentally I purchased mine from Sweetwater as well.

Well, these issues are usually down to specific serials and user accounts, so the issue was fixed for this user. I see that you already contacted my colleagues, they will sort it out.
