VEP 7 software substitute (by NI)

Does NI thought about the possibility to develop a software similar to Vienna Ensemble Pro 7, in which the users could load all the libraries outside the sequencers (Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools, etc.).

I always thought that this would be the natural evolution of KONTAKT.

I used to have multiple instances of maschine in VEP running instruments . VEP was just too unreliable for me in the end. If you cranked up the overall power of the standalone maschine and did what you're suggesting that would be an interesting prospect
