Running the S8 controller together with the Z2 mixer

Hi everyone...

Is it possible to run the S8 controller simultaneously through the Z2 mixer USB port and still have control of all 4 decks on each unit?

Or do I need to connect each unit individually to the laptop USB ports and use the (ASIO A4LL) Driver instead?

You can definitely connect via the Z2 HUB. If you want to output from both devices then you will need ASIO4ALL.

You are better of outputing and monitoring from S8.

Stevan thank you for your help and quick reply.

I've been using my S8 with two Technics 1210s but am getting back pain from having to reach the decks whilst sitting on my wheelchair. I love my S8 and want to keep on using it but not with the 1210s, I will usit for mp3 files instead. Having the Z2 means the decks will be much closer to me because the Z2 is not half as wide as the S8. I also want to keep everything connected so that I dont need to reconnect one or the other each time I want to play thus my reason for asking the question.

My Z2 arrives tomorrow and I shall use the HUB as you mentioned because I only need the output out of the Z2.
