Maschine Mikro Mk3 - hardware not working

Hi all, just bought a maschine mikro mk3 today, im using an IMAC - Mac OS10.13

Installed all the software fine, but can't seem to get the hardware working. It's not showing as a controller in my Maschine preferences and only has the Maschine Mikro words lit up on the small screen. can't get any further than that. any ideas?

Yes, I bought a new cable and that sorted the problem.

Yep tried all that. Full disk access only came in on OS 10.14 I have 10.13 and cant upgrade any further

Did you get a fix for this? I am having same problem but with Sonoma 14.2.1 and tried full disk access etc but the Mikro is not recognised in Maschine or Controller Editor or the firmware upgrade tool.
