Why Maschine Library needs to Rescan often

HI Guys,

I posted about this a good while back and ignored it until now, but its becoming really quite annoying.

I have my maschine library on an external HD. Quite often the library will disappear and need to be re-scanned for it to appear again.

It gets really annoying when running maschine as a plugin inside Ableton.

The fix is always to close Ableton and then open Maschine stand alone to allow it to re-scan the library again.

It seems to happen when I dont have the HD connected to the laptop for a number of days, but its usually random.

Has anyone else experienced this?

When you disconnect the Hard drive, the link to the libraries is lost...Maschine does automatic scans that might cause this issue...

@REUBSY I don't think I've seen this behaviour before but I could be wrong. Does Maschine and Ableton have Full Disk Access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

What kind of hard drive is it?
