Changing Default load behaviour?

I spend a lot of time auditioning sounds in Kontakt 6/ Cubase 12. If I click on an NKI, it invariably loads the sound below the instrument I previously selected. This is not what I want.

What I would like is to default replace the old instrument with the new.


Is this possible?

    Only via drag and drop over the already loaded instrument.

    I hope this will improved (but hear that the same limitation exists in K7). I have lots of situations in Kontakt where I want to try out various presets, and having to drag instead of double-click seem like an unnecessary level of cumbersomeness.

    In Kontakt 7 if you are in single view mode (which is how it opens by default), loading instruments from the new browser will replace the previously loaded instrument.
