When searching in the preset browser keystrokes are delegated to Cakewalk too

Hi,

When I search in the search box and type a key this triggers a CakeWalk (Sonar Platinum) keyboard shortcut.

How can I prevent this?

    Not sure if this applies to Sonar Platinum, but at the top right of the plugin interface in Cakewalk by Bandlab, there is a button to “Send Keystrokes to plugin” which might help in you situation. I have not tested as I don’t have SP installed, but thought I would mention it!

    Thanks, that solves it, albeit that the setting is not stored when closing the plugin.

    So I have to remember to check the button before typing.

    I don't have this problem with Guitar Rig 5 and other plugins that have a search field, the issue seems to be specific to Guitar Rig 6.
