Help: Ableton crashes after Kontakt 7 update

I updated Kontakt 7 to the latest version (7.10.7) via Native Access (no Upgrade to Kontakt 8!) because I wanted to load a patch which required a newer version.
Now Ableton projects containing an instance of Kontakt 7 crash at start up, which is a nightmare. I worked on several projects until yesterday and they won't load.
I've used Kontakt 7 with the Empire Breaks Library (and maybe one or two more) and I've also updated all Kontakt Libraries/Expansions via Native Access but that didn't solve the problem.
I'm on the latest Ableton 12.2 and Mac OS 13.7.3

Any ideas?
Can I downgrade Kontakt to the version before? Not sure what version I was on though…

    Your OS , Ventura , should be compatible with the latest version of Kontakt 7.

    Also then sometimes it helps to reset the DAWs plugin database and let it rescan but I don't know if that will help you.

    in case of download problems then try logging in into Google first, if that doesn't help then copy the download to own Google drive before the download.

    The above ought to help you circumvent the download limit.

    Have you tried to open Kontakt in standalone? Does it crash too?

    thanks for the replies.

    So far nothing has solved the problem though.

    I installed older Kontakt versions. Found out that I was on 7.1. before and grabbed that from my timemachine backup. Then the libraries would'nt load anymore with the old Kontakt version. Didn't manage to find the old version of the libraries but installed the most important one from a link here in the forum. But still no luck.
    I can open Kontakt 7.1 standalone and it has the Empire Breaks library which is used in the projects which crash.

    I also started Ableton in "no third party plugins" mode, removed the kontakt instances and saved as a new project without them. But the project still crash when I try to open them. This is becoming a serious problem.

    It's very unlikely the problem is a particular version, downgrading does not always make sense.
