How to keep Transport controls working in Ableton?
Hi,
S49 MK2 - had it for years, love it when it works - but have an ongoing issue.
every 3 - 6 months, the transport controls in Ableton just stop working. in the past, restarting the keyboard and/or Ableton has fixed it, but as of today, that's no longer doing it.
latest KK, latest Ableton, latest firmware, latest Windows 10.
like i said, transport controls just stop working. the tempo and metronome buttons don't light up either. i can still pull up presets and play them while it's happening. this has happened every few months the entire time I've owned this thing, really looking to find a permanent solution to it.

Does that come randomly or after installing an update? Anleton update? NI update, Windows update?
Are you using any kind of registry cleaner? Notes on Using Registry or Property List Cleaning Utilities
Are you running Komplete Kontrol and Ableton as admin? How to Run a Program as an Administrator

It's just random, it will work the day before and then the next day with 0 updates or changes, the transport controls stop working.
No registry cleaner.
I'll try running as admin always, but have serious doubts that's it.
