Programming templtes for S61n

When programming a template to use knobs of a keyboard (KK61mkIII), are there specific CC's to avoid? I'm having some issues with doubled functions, like one knob controlling too many parameters when I didn't mean it to.

Hello,
there is no easy answer to that, there is a midi standard like, for example, cc7 = volume control, cc64 = sustain and so on, you can easily google a table with all the data. But it mostly depends on the instrument you use, some have standard mappings and react to some CC's, you maybe can delete that or just use the standard mapping. Unfortunately you would have to search the details for every instrument you want to map. That's why nks is soo cool. Same for hardware instruments, you would have to search for the midi implementation chart.
