Plugin vendor adds a slash "/" to the name, making creating thumbnails impossible

Hi folks,
I am attempting to create thumnails for some of my plugins, one in particular VPS Avenger 2 from Keilworth Audio / Vengeance Sound. It has a slash in the name and obviously Windows doesnt allow that. Because the folder in the image database location doesn't match the plugin vendor, the images don't show up. Any idea if this can be fixed?

You can edit the vendor name in Komplete Kontrol properties for the saved nksf patches then align the folder names to that (but use KK 2.9.6 for that as it doesn’t work yet in KK 3)
Alternatively just use the template I made in the NKS user library or the one by FreelanceSoundlabs

Thank you, I did find the VPS Avenger one from someone. Do you know how to edit the preset properties? For some reason they are greyed out, so I can't setup banks for presets! Very annoying.

They are greyed out in KK3 - like I said only KK 2.9.6 (or Maschine) can edit NKS properties for vendor at the moment
As for editing bank names only possible with third party tools or hacks

You can actually use Chat GPT to edit and export banks and subbanks, vendor names, instrument names, and a few other bits in individual .nksf files now, should that be easier for some.

How do you do that?

Thanks for the tip!
More details (to not waste 2 weeks on research) will be even more welcome 😉

You need to give it a file to work with as a template (I've only tried .nksf), but simple commands to use this as a template, but write the bank as [insert] export the file does work. In theory this should work for .nki, .nksn and potentially reaktor files.
It can't generate presets for you, because it can't load the plugin, but you can give it a list of presets and it will export the relevent presets as .nksf with a template file.
The .nksf will only export the original data, because it's 'getchuck' effectively, but I was looking at this for creating presets for Mosaiq. I'd then need to load each preset, then navigate to the preset in Falcon, and then resave. It retains all the correct pluginid etc (which you can chose to change should you wish).
I also thought about getting it to take the .nka files for Morphestra 2 (I only have the full kontakt version) an creating .nksn presets for that. Will need to do some research on that.
Still long work, but might save a bunch of time.1
