My installed banks won't open in komplete kontrol 3.4.1

Hello Native Instruments team,
I’m experiencing a serious and blocking issue on my new MacBook Pro 14" with the M4 chip, running macOS Sequoia 15.4.1.
I have Kontakt 8.3.0, Kontakt 7.10.7, and Komplete Kontrol 3.4.0 installed.
- Both Kontakt 7 and Kontakt 8 open and function correctly in standalone mode.
- All my libraries are visible and playable in the standalone versions.
- However, Komplete Kontrol consistently fails to load either version of Kontakt, displaying the message:
“Plug-in not found. Loading issue plugins/preset could not be loaded, as it does not yet support Apple Silicon or VST2/VST3.” - When launching Komplete Kontrol in Rosetta mode, I get:
“Plug-in not found. Please open the standalone application to rescan…” - After rescanning, Kontakt 7 and 8 still do not appear in the plug-in list inside Komplete Kontrol.
I have:
- Manually verified that the
.vst3
files are in/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
- Reset all relevant NI cache and preference files
- Reinstalled both Komplete Kontrol and Kontakt 7 multiple times
- Confirmed that both apps work fine individually
- Used Rosetta mode for Komplete Kontrol, no improvement
This is a major roadblock for my production workflow.
Could this be a compatibility issue with Sequoia 15.4.1 or Apple M4 chips?
Thank you for your help — I need this to work as soon as possible.

Can you load the VST3 of Kontakt’s 8 in another host?

No path to vst3 plugins in native access??? Great idea!

Check these first :
ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS
and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats
And quote Kymeia : if using Sequoia then N.I. apps must be added to the Local Network
.
Also then do not use Clean My Mac.

I can't add anything to the local network. The only problem I'm having is that the scan in komplete kontrol doesn't scan kontakt 7 and 8, so it can't use my banks. And I've been going round and round about the problem for a week now, without finding any solutions. No technical support so far from NI. I'm exhausted, 90% of my Ableton Live sessions go through Komplete Kontrol.

You can't add anything to the local network, only full disk access.

I only use komplete kontrol or ableton live. I can load kontakt into ableton and use my banks, or standalone, but when I go through komplete kontrol, I get the error message. I realised while scanning my plugins that it does not scan kontakt.vst3 for an unknown reason. I have refresh the folder hidden in library app support NI komplete kontrol, same problem it does not want.

Are these errors occurring when you open "older" Ableton projects or is this a brand new (never ever used before for anything) install and you see these errors starting a brand new Ableton sessions from scratch?
AND - in Ableton itself - have you specifically told the program to scan the VST3 folders?
Ableton as a company (inexplicably) continues to live in some parallel universe where they do not believe anyone actually uses/has/needs VST3 so they do not turn this option on by default.
I cannot tell you how many Ableton users I have seen who are dumbfounded when they open the options in that DAW and find out VST3 has been off from scanning the whole time they had their issue.

The only current error is that komplete kontrol can't scan kontakt.vst3 since the Sequoia 15.4.1 update for some unknown reason because not even 2 weeks ago everything was working perfectly. I can pre-listen to my banks, they are visible as shown in the screenshots, but when I want to load them I get the error message which actually indicates that it can't find kontakt to launch. Whereas Kontakt is installed everywhere as it should be.

Understood - not a Mac user but I am familiar with the hoops you need to jump through with Sequoia.
If you do not see a Kontakt entries in the KK scan listing - there are clearly problems elsewhere.

Yes, and even with older versions of komplete kontrol and kontakt, it doesn't work.

Yes but is Ableton loading the VST3 version (it can also load AU and VST2)?

Do you have these options checked?

Yes. I asked chat gpt, here's what it tells me:
Even in Rosetta mode (x86_64), no scan of Kontakt 7.vst3 or Kontakt 8.vst3 is launched.
And Komplete Kontrol still doesn't list it.The key line is here:
[warning] [:614] A software instance was not closed properly or is inoperative. Its IPC data has been removed.
This suggests an IPC problem between Komplete Kontrol and its internal components or plugins - often caused by :
inadequate system permissions (sandbox / TCC);a conflict with Rosetta or the plugin architecture (ARM vs x86);or a bug introduced by macOS 15.4.1 in the management of VST3 plugin paths.

I doubt it I'm on 15.4.1 and have no such issues. I think it's a specific issue on your system

Just to have that out of the way also , are you using latest version of Native Access for your OS ?
Reinstalled both Komplete Kontrol and Kontakt 7 multiple times
When doing this did you then manually remove all files related to e.g. Kontakt 7 (including JSON and XML) and do a reboot prior to re-installing Kontakt 7 ?
