Guitar Rig 6.2.3 crashing in stand alone and in LPX

Hi,

I tried doing a search & found some with similar issues, but not the same.

I have a late 2015 MacBook Pro. Had been using it for ages with Catalina & all ran fine.

A couple of months ago I rebuilt the laptop (it was running slow) & updated the OS to Monterey. I ended up just using my iMac for music & the MacBook just for art duties.

Recently I joined a band & wanted to use GR on my bass, so installed Logic & GR.

Every time I try to open GR, I get a "....Quit unexpectedly" error. Doesn't matter if it's in LPX or stand alone. I've tried uninstalling everything (including LPX) & reinstalling, but still getting the same issue.

Here's the start of the error. I can get the full thing if that helps?

Oh, Monark isn't opening in KK. Just says "Unable to load instrument".

Thanks, that was the first one I found. I don't seem to have the gr6db or gr6dbLock files at all. Not in the specified Database folder & nowhere else. 🤔

Ok, that may indicate that the files can’t be written due to disk access privileges. Maybe the following article will help.

Thanks again. I’ve given full disk access & it still crashes. I’ve been checking the permissions on the folders & can’t find any issues (though I’m inclined to think that one somewhere is what the issue is).
