I had the option to download KONTACT, KONTACT 7 & KONTACT 8

Good Afternoon,

Very recently I had the option to download KONTACT, KONTACT 7 & KONTACT 8…. which I did do.

Are having all three of these "overkill"?, meaning is KONTACT 8 basically the same as KONTACT 7 with some upgrades?

    You would only ever need the older versions if those were used in a specific (older) project that you might need to access at some point.

    Other than that - Kontakt 8 should handle it all.
