how do I upgrade from kontakt 7 player to kontakt 7 full ?

Hi, I am using my kontakt 7 player and I have a plan to upgrade to kontakt 7 full (not kontakt8). But the probleme is I don't know how.

I know that I have to buy it in native-instrument's website but I see only kontakt 8. I don't want kontakt 8. I just want to upgrade my kontakt 7 to full version.

    NI no longer offers Kontakt 7 for purchase since 8 got released.

    Try your luck in the "Buy / Sell / Trade" thread below - perhaps someone sells a license.

    Why is 7 no longer available? It is still functional.

    That’s NI (and many others) politics: once a new version is released, they don’t sell previous one anymore.

    I suspect also that 7 (although as you say it is still functional) will start to see its “programmed” decline in a not so far future, which already started, with new libraries requiring Kontakt 8, and then with it being more and more difficult to install and authorize, not supported on newer OS, etc etc…

    Why, you ask? The reason is simple: they want to sell you the new things (even when they don’t bring anything really innovating to the table and you are already happy with what you already bought).
