Possible Komplete Kontrol "Next Preset" bug with S88 mk2

Hi,

I'm using Komplete Kontrol with an S88 mk2 on Mac. I've found this issue within Logic Pro (au), Ableton Live 12 (vst3), and Standalone KK.

The basic issue is that next or previous preset from the "Plug-in" screen on the S88 mk2 will always revert to next/previous on the first instrument loaded. Steps to recreate:

Load a preset from any instrument (call it INST-A)
Load a preset from a different instrument (call it INST-B)
From the "Plug-in" screen (e.g. Plug-in is lit up with the macros on screen - not in the browser) press next/previous Preset buttons. The next/previous Preset will be from INST-A and not the currently loaded instrument.
To compare behavior, switch to "Browser" mode after loading INST-B and, from Browser mode, Preset next/prev act appropriately within the instrument.
Try loading multiple instruments/presets (INST-C, INST-D, … INST-n) and next/prev preset will always revert to INST-A, no matter how many presets ago it was if pressing the button from the "Plug-In" screen.

Given the inconsistency and unexpectedness, and the fact that it wasn't always like this, I believe this is a bug and not "as designed". I searched and didn't find anyone else reporting this.

Any thoughts or help here? I'd be happy to expound on anything if it helps.

If it happens to be volume related in some way, I have 237 licensed instrument from various manufacturers and 37 user instruments. I've mostly tested with licensed instruments in my current loaded version.

Ok, I never have been happier to admit, I am dumb! I retract my previous post regarding missing plugins. It looks like I miscalculated the number of plugins I had installed. I had to reinstall my Aurtira plugins last week and now I have less now because I only installed V Collection 9, and not the older V Collections as well.

and to answer your other question, Analog Lab is not supported by NKS. I manually saved my multi presets from Analog Lab in Komplete Kontrol and they show up now under User Presets.

I'm on KK 3.3.3 and I'm getting same behaviour as described by the op. Browsing to the next preset does work correctly if I'm in the browser view. However, if I'm in the plug-in view pressing the preset down button browses to the next preset of the previously loaded instrument. Put a different way, pressing the next preset button switches me out of the current instrument and back into the previous instrument.

Got an A49 on an laptop running Komplete Start - no issues there, so it's got to be a S-series mk2 issue

I had also sent a detailed step by step report on how to reproduce the issue directly to NI support in late October before I found this thread. S61 MK2, K 3.3.3, Win10

And on Nov 7th, I received a message from the NI support team:

"we have sent the development all necessary info regarding this issue."

At least not in S49 MK2. This bug is a horriböe workflow killer

Same issue. It's driving me nuts! The whole point of this keyboard was to not have to look at the screen and focus on the music….

Did they do this on purpose to have to buy the newest MK3 without this issue?
