Batch resave

Hi, I'm actually on Kontakt 7 and need further information before doing a Batch Resave.

I read that processing a batch resave will make libraries incompatible with previous Kontakt version, the question is will I have to do it again with newer Kontakt versions to make them compatible ?

    Why do you need to do a batch resave? It really should be needed in most cases with modern libraries.

    Yes, I use modern libraries, so what's the answer to my question ?

    That it's not routinely needed now, so certainly is not needed for every update; it will just make libraries incompatible with earlier versions of Kontakt, not later ones.
