So I connect my s25 mk2 that I recently bought second-hand, open KK and s25 stays in stand alone mode, no integration or navigation. I can see it in KK midi settings but not in the top menu in controller section. KK is updated, the keyboard is registered.
P.S.
OOPS , @Dissekt and @a3at
Downgrading to KK 2.9.6 will bring back full functionality.
No , it will probably not since as I wrote earlier then Sonoma users have to use K.K. version at least V. 3.2
Still thank you very much at Dissekt , I need to be a lot better at questioning the information that I get from people here. The Kontrol MK1 keyboards does not support Mac OS Sonoma other than as a generic Midi controller.
No wonder I got completely confused here.
I can report that rolling back to KK 2.9.6 did the trick!
Thanks guys
That’s fantastic to hear!
The S25 is a great little device. Not too much bigger than a Maschine but with full size keys instead of pads. I really hope that NI revisit the form factor one day.

N.I. has implied that it is possible that they are considering making a S-Series keyboard version with more than 25 keys but less than 49 keys. Meaning that chance of N.I. making a S-Series 25 keys are not great but they are considering making what sounds as could have 32 ? or 37 ? keys.

S25 is not coming later.
Other key sizes larger than 25 but smaller than 49, with the same capabilities... might be...
Yes, I remember reading this. It’s a shame as I can’t think of another 25 key form factor controller with the same build quality and an equivalent keybed. 25 full size keys aren’t much larger than a mini-key board and are easily transported to EMOMs, meet-ups and shows.
Having said that, a Kontrol Mk3 with 32 or 37 keys isn't too much larger again and would be an instant purchase for me.
I'm guessing A25 is there for now
