I purchased the Kontakt 7 update but need the full version. What should I do?

The update cost $49+. The full version about $149. When I buy the full version, does it include what I bought in the update? I.e., did I waste that $49 update fee and/or can I get a $49 discount on the full version?

The Update is only meant for owners of previous/older Kontakt versions who want to own the latest version.
I'd strongly suggest to get in touch with NI's Purchase Support:
Tell them what happened and perhaps they can issue a refund or find a solution for you.
