Where is the "import content" option on KK?
I am searching fro the import content option in KK that is present in Kontakt
I definitelly accessed this window once, when an error occured when loading instruments and upon clicking okay, this window appeared.
But I have no idea how to access it now without the error previously appearing.
Tutorials say it is next to this button
But this button doesnt exist in KK? So how do I access it? (I am not looking for the option in setting, where you can import custom libraries, I am specifically looking for this window, which I know is somehow able to be acceses because as I said I already accessed it once in KK)

This feature is only for Kontakt 7.

Yes it's there it happens when scanning libraries and finds incompatible files.. there a key command to bring this window up.. I have done it several times to get 3rd party libraries to load..

I find it funny how this was marked as the "correct" answer even though it is absolutely false.
as @Beatsandmore stated, it is indeed very much possible.0 -
To quote my own post: "I am not looking for the option in setting, where you can import custom libraries, I am specifically looking for this window, which I know is somehow able to be acceses because as I said I already accessed it once in KK"

The fact that it only shows with an error message suggests this is a bug not a feature (probably something in the browser code from Kontakt 7 that is only triggered under certain circumstances)

Im aware its a bug (a very useful one, too, thats why I want to access it). Apparently there is a consistent way to access it (as beatsandmore said)

I don't see how it is useful tbh. The content importer is meant for the Kontakt browser to import third party Kontakt libraries into it, you can do that through Kontakt already and it still doesn't make them show in Komplete Kontrol. And Komplete Kontrol libraries (ie nksf patches) are already importable through the library editor in settings - you either just add them to the existing user content folder or add the path in the librarian and scan them into the database - you can also add sample folders that way.

seing that @beatsandmore also uses it, Im probably not the only one having massive problems trying to import libraries, where it doesnt work 50% of the time, yet all these bugs are fixed once I use the import feature.
But I made the thread for a solution, not for people to question the validity of my question; I have my reasons.0 -
Then explain, what can it do that you can't do the ways I mentioned? What libraries have you been able to import with it that you couldn't before? If these are Kontakt libraries then the import function is already there in Kontakt, I've used it many times succesfully myself:
On the other hand if you are referring to Komplete Kontrol NKS libraries for third party plugins there is already an existing import capability but this dialogue isn't related to that, only Kontakt libraries
btw I'm not questioning the 'validity' of your question, you are entitled to ask any question but others are also entitled to question the rationale behind the question? Right now I'm clear that you want to get access to this dialogue (even though it's very likely something NI didn't intend to be there and will probably remove in a bug fix) but I am curious what you want to get from it that you can't get already? Also in your first post you said you'd only seen it come up once, so how can you be so sure it's going to resolve your problems with importing libraries? It's the exact same dialogue that is in Kontakt, so at best it's going to work the exact same way, but given it's not meant to be there I would not be surprised if functionally it didn't work as well, if at all.

I wont be arguing about either the rationale or validity of my question, that is not why I ask a question. I can assure you that I have valid and rational reasons behind my question, otherwise I wouldnt have asked it. Though I do understand why you'd like to discuss that, Im just here looking for the solution for the problem: "Open the hidden/unintendedly implemented import-library feature consistently in the specific software: Komplete Kontrol."
@Beatsandmore was able to deliver an adequate solution to that precise question pretty quickly after all, and thats what I prefer. Its just.. that he hasnt been online since then lol.
Edit: The only other solution that I can think of is that (when adding a Libary to Kontakt via this feature) it appears in Komplete Kontrol aswell, but that doesnt seem to be the case.1 -

That's right, I did say this
I can't get the dialogue to open any more for me, I've tried all sorts of unsupported files to try and trigger it, but I suspect if I did get it open and tried to import anything, if it worked at all, it would still go into the Kontakt browser as this is a Kontakt dialogue and that is what it was made to do

Sorry vacationing with the family. Yes I was able to import 3rd party libraries. When I rescanned it must have found incompatible kontakt files v5 I believe. Error files would show I would hit shift and left key on my mouse then I would get the same screen to add 3rd party kontakt libraries.. which was hugh because I added about 40% more presets.. downside no images but it's what we need using our mk3.. please add this feature along with a long list of others..

If it's Kontakt libraries then it is as I said, the same dialogue that is in Kontakt 7 to add third party libraries. But it only adds them to Kontakt's browser, not Komplete Kontrol's for me, are you saying it adds them to Komplete Kontrol too? I'd be very surprised if it did but if this is true can you post a screenshot and what is this mysterious key combination to open the dialogue?
btw it is possible to add custom images as I have done (see screenshot above)
