I listened to some of the instruments. I was not nearly as impressed as I am with Native's latest NKS instruments. I decided to pass on these.
What instruments are you referring too? The deal is for 9 expansions which contain samples and presets, no instruments in them.
My mistake. The images on the website make them look like little modular instruments, so that's what I called them. That's the power of visuals, I suppose. But no matter what we call them, instruments, expansions, a steak sandwich, or the breath of angels, I just wasn't impressed.
I listened to some of the sound samples on the guy's video. He kept saying things like, "Ooooh, that's interesting!" and "I like that one!" and I kept saying things like, "Ugh, really dude?" and "Wow, that one would even annoy my dead relatives!"
It's just a matter of taste, of course...and I'm probably wrong. But I'm not wrong for me, and of that I'm certain. 😏
Just for the love of correctness: some Expansions do contain some multisampled instruments on top of samples and presets.
Not too many, not too fancy…but they are there
