Requesting Komplete Kontrol 2.8 installer for rolling back
Hi,
Is there a location where I can download Komplete Kontrol 2.8? I would like to roll back to that version after the later versions have each been slower to load than the prior version, and it seems that 2.8 is the one to install to continue the speedy loading times I was used to. Thanks.

There has been discussions also about how well v. 2.8 worked for some (don't have the time to go through them) , so I would suggest that you settle for version 2.9.6 : https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/17840/komplete-kontrol-2-9-6-last-vst2-supported-version
Otherwise you would have to contact support and ask them for an installer to V.2.8 , if they will give you one I can not promise !

Thanks - I have 2.96 installed (I have a Mk 1 keyboard so cannot use the later versions), but the performance is still poor compared to what it was. The plugin used to load instantly and now takes over 20 seconds without an instrument loaded, which is borderline unusable in my opinion. I have requested version 2.8 from support, hopefully they will provide it.

As far as I know then , if plugin scanning scan time is the problem (?) , you should be able to bypass plugin scanning by using the Escape key on the keyboard ! Which ought to be another and maybe better fix ! ?
