Did you try experimenting with other audio engines inside Kontakt standalone?
Let me know if you found the correct engine.
To change audio engine, but not litteraly.
You know, ASIO, WASAPI etc...
Go to the audio settings and check around for the engine.
Oh...hmm...
Well, it seems that I need to call upon @Kymeia to help you.
Because your AMD HD audio is HDMI audio. You should have another option like Realtek Audio, or something else. Do you know what motherboard you have by chance?
Nah Windows 10 is still plenty good. I'd give 11 another year or so before upgrading.
So your motherboard has a Realtek sound chip onboard, so that's what you should be using as your actual audio device, assuming you have speakers connected to your motherboard?
Ok, same same, are they connected via USB or regular audio jacks?
Attaching a TV and switching to HDMI audio in my experience tends to produce some very nasty problems on some Windows installations some of the time including producing a problem where it is nearly impossible to restore normal audio.
This is obviously not the case here at least not yet , but still using HDMI audio out tends to give problems.
Surely switching the drivers to what works best in your case might help (e.g. ASIO, WASAPI) , but most people at this forum will recommend ASIO and only ASIO and not even use e.g. ASIO4ALL. But I would say that you have to use what works best for you in the situation.
Also , in your case , then apart from using the driver you want then try if you can see if you can 'route' yourself out of the situation by using the FREE VB-Audio "VOICEMEETER BANANA Advanced Mixer" (it's free/ Donationware) : https://vb-audio.com/Voicemeeter/banana.htm
So you'll want to use your Realtek audio device, sometimes there may be two, one for the analog out and one for digital spdif in addition trying either the ASIO or WASAPI drivers as PoorFellow suggested.
