Session Strings Pro 2 Audio Loss when Portamento Turned On

Anyone esle have this isssue?


-Load Session Strings Pro 2 in Kontakt 6.7.1

-Under the hood right click "tune" and select glide

-Then go to empty slot in script editor and choose "Unision-portamento"

-Start turning knobs for "legato" in mono mode and "on" for portamento. Audio for the instrument just pops and cuts out

-MIDI signal still received but no audio/no audio meters in Kontakt.

-rest of project audio plays, so not global issue.

-tried reloadins samples, still nothing

-portamento seems to work with user libraries and some Kontakt factory, but not session strings pro 2


Any suggestions?

    I think you should update Kontakt to the latest version.

    As for the rest, in my opinion,you should update or reinstall session strings pro.

    I hope any of these help.

    @Bernard Hankins What's your operating system? What are your audio settings? Did you install the library on an external hard drive? What's the format of that drive?

    @Jeremy_NI OS is Windows 11. Audio settings are ASIO USB Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3, 44.1khz. All libraries are installed in an internal Samsung SSD NTFS
