Can I use Maschine pads with Kontrol DAW integration?

Hi, as far as I've understood I can't use Kontrol with the Maschine in my DAW. But I'm wondering if it would be possible to use the pads on the Maschine in my DAW (Reaper) if I own a Komplete Kontrol Keyboard. Do the two of them work together outside of the Maschine software?
