How do I change tempo on-the-fly using Komplete Kontrol keyboard and Logic?

I have a Komplete Kontrol S88 keyboard and I'm using Logic Pro 10.7.4. I can change the tempo of my project in Logic, but I'd love to be able to do this on-the-fly directly from the keyboard rather than having to turn to my computer. Is this possible?

You can't change the tempo for your Logic (or other DAW) project from the keyboard. Will forward this as a feature request.

Have you tried to press tempo and use the 4d encoder?

@Uwe303 the 4d encoder moves the playhead forward and back. Pressing tempo before I do that, or simultaneously, has no effect.
