Why does Electric Mint freeze between preset changes?

    Mayhaps you need the tuning tips by NI

    I can't see what OS you drive. Isn't it PC you can search yourself for Mac tuning tips, okay?

    @Norman Russell Some more context would help here, like is it happening in a DAW? Standalone? What DAW ? What is your operating system? How does it happen exactly?

    Hi sorry. I am currently using Studio one with Windows 10 via the Studio 192 interface. All of my vsts work fine including strummed acoustic but electric vintage picked acoustic and electric mint freeze between pattern selections and presets. Also doesn't seem to do a batch resave as demonstrated on line..Really frustrating with work flow but great sounds.. I have Toontrack which works fine on all instruments just Native instruments is the problem..

    @Norman Russell Could you demonstrate the issue in a video and post it here?

    What are your audio settings in Studio One?

    Can you check if it's also happening in Kontakt in standalone? Is it happening with other Kontakt libraries?

    Try running Kontakt and Studio One as admin, does it make a difference? How to Run a Program as an Administrator

    Hello.

    I have the same issue in Studio One but it occurs also in kontakt player 6 and 7 standalone.

    The first time I change the current song preset, I play with the software keyboard and it works, the second time I change song preset and I play the software keyboard, kontakt player freezes and the software window become gray for more then one minute.

    @leosoft What is your operating system? Where is the library installed? On an external hard drive? What format is the drive?

    And this doesn't happen with any other library? Are you running your DAW and Kontakt as admin? How to Run a Program as an Administrator

    Hello everyone, i have the same problem with electric mint, sunburst, vintage, picked accoustic and nylon but not with strummed acoustic (1&2).

    I use Kontakt 7 in fl studio 21 on windows 10, but i tried as standalone and as an administator and it's the same problem. for me it does this with patern presets and sound presets. I tried on two differents pc with good performance, the libraries are in an external ssd hardrive and the audio settings of the daw don't seem to affect the problem.

    Exactly like leosoft, it freeze after the second time changing preset, and sometimes my daw crashes beacause of this problem. Also changing settings like mic position (or pickup selection ) while playing crashes kontakt

    I hope it will be solved beacause i use a lot theese libraries but i loose a lot of time wainting and reopening projects because of crashes.

    @Theworstmusician I remember there was a similar issue quite a while ago, it was a bug that was then fixed. What version of Kontakt are you using? Can you click on the NI logo of Kontakt when in FL Studio? What version does it show? Is it the same as the standalone version?

    My version of kontakt is 7.9 for standalone and vst (i installed it yesterday before my coment to check if it changes, i don't remenber what version I has before but the problem survived)

    You said the bug was fixed, was it on kontakt 7 or older? I don't know if those libraries worked on K6 before

    And I got an idea, I could try every versions of kontakt 7 one by one in order to find one that works fine with those libraries, but i dont know if I can keep the latest version too (for other libraries) maybe by renaming the vst file or something, and I have trouble finding oldest versions.

    Just updated to Kontakt 7.9....no difference. Always purging and reloading. I have other session guitarist instruments....but this Electric Mint. to me is useless non usable in a work flow. Time to uninstall and find something that works...Have to say I have NO problems at all from all my Toontrack instruments fast, work every time....

    @Norman Russell If you click on the NI logo in Kontakt in FL Studio, what version does it show? The same as the standalone?
