any luck repairing a KK A49 keyboard controller?

One of my keys on my KK A49 controller "triggers" a sound about 50% of the time. It's only 4 years old and I was hoping it would last longer than this. I have looked unsuccessfully on finding any websites with parts to sell so was wondering if anybody has any experience fixing something similar by themselves? I'd imagine shipping to a repair center will end up costing as much as just buying a new one and I want to prevent that if I can.
