Why does Guitar Rig 6 keep crashing on start up?

I semi-recently bought Guitar Rig 6 and have been loving it so far but today after bookmarking a certain effect the program crashed and now won't reopen. I have tried everything that is listed on the Native Instruments website but nothing worked. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Guitar Rig 6 and Native Access but it still won't open. Has anyone else had a similar problem? How can I fix this? (I was using it as a standalone application)
