This happens frequently with many instruments in my larger sessions. Makes it impossible to get reliable playback and bounces. When this is happening, pro tools is also a lot more prone to crashing when trying to freeze or commit tracks.

Hey @Dbo12 Where did you install your Kontakt libraries ? On an external hard drive ? What is the format of that drive ? We recommend APFS: Notes on Hard Drive Formats on Mac Computers
Also make sure that both Kontakt and ProTools have Full Disk Access: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

My samples are stored on an APFS formatted OWC Thunderbay-mini with 8 TB of SSD, connected via Thunderbolt 3. It is configured via SoftRaid.
I've just enabled full disk access to Pro Tools and Kontakt. Hoping that solves the problem!
