Kontakt Factory Libary 2 (Kontakt 7)

Hello,

I have a question regarding Kontakt Factory Libary 2, can anyone tell me if this is complementary to the old Factory Libary or if version 2 replaces version 1.

So all instruments from version 1 are also included in 2? I couldn't find the info, but may have just overlooked it.

My concern is to keep the disk as slim as possible ;)

The new one contains everything from the old one, sometimes remastered, and sometimes with new names.

What about the Edit Mode? Are the Factory Library 2 instruments locked or is it still possible to edit them in Edit Mode like the old Factory library?

I've not upgraded yet, so I can't test it. But based on some Youtube videos, the v2 seems to be locked. That would be a big limitation compared to v1.

Yes, it looks like editing isn't an option for that particular library. I tested a bunch of others, which all had it. Seems odd.
