Hi — I need some help with a connectivity issue after recent updates.
Setup
Logic Pro 11.2.2
macOS on Mac Studio (14.7)
Komplete Kontrol / Komplete Kontrol Control S-88 MK3 on firmware 2.0.4
Hardware Connection Service 2.0.6
Problem
Since updating both the Hardware Connection Service and the Control S-88 firmware, whenever I’m in Logic and press the DAW button on the keyboard, Logic loses connection to the keyboard. The keyboard screen goes blank and the controller stops responding inside Logic. I then have to re-select the controller (or reopen Kontakt/controller software) to restore the connection. This happens every single time I press the DAW button, which prevents me from monitoring the mixer within Logic.
What I’ve tried
Restarting Logic and the Mac (multiple times)
Attempting to open a support chat on the Native Instruments site — the chat keeps crashing and fails to escalate my query, so I’ve had no success getting help from them.
I’m quite frustrated with the lack of support. Can anyone advise what I should try next — e.g., roll back firmware, reinstall Hardware Connection Service, MIDI/driver settings to check, or a known compatibility issue with Logic 11.2.2 and Mac 14.7?
