I've been a Kontakt user for some years now. Though had a break for a few years. I've just updated to the (sort of new Kontakt 8) - I was still using 5 for years as it always did everything it needed for me, and very stable.
I am having a weird issue wher I cannot drag and drop a sample onto an instance of a Kontakt instrument. This is regardless of if there is an existing sample loaded or a new instrument. I have been working this way (drag n dropping samples) for as long as I can remember.
I have given all the necessary full disk access to Kontakt and Ableton, Native Access etc. I have tried in standalone and as a plugin.
I have tried in the Kontakt file browser as well as dragging from finder.
I saw this post and have the same issue - but I am on a macbook pro intel i7.
I googled and didn't really find anything that would help. Hoping to get some guidance here. Thanks in advance.
