How to save MIDI CC assignments

How to save MIDI CC assignments Im just rying to control the macros from the dials on my Akai MPKmini3.

I have somehow managed to save them in Duets ( or maybe they were there).

But if I use a different library and manual program the macros to a midi CC. If I close and reopen that library it is all gone.

Is there any way to do this globally

Hello,

you could use komplete kontrol and your keyboard is nks ready:

or if you just insist on just use kontakt you have to save your own preset with that mapping and re- load that. But i would use komplete kontrol in your case.

Hi Uwe Thanks for helping.

Indeed if I reset the Akai and then go to Kontrol and load the preset in Kontrol, it all seems to work in Kontrol fine. That is a big help.

But it would seem that that mapping should translate and work in KontaKt as well, but it does not.

I am still learning this whole ecosystem. but it seems like there are things you can do in Kontakt that you cant do in Kontrol. (like layering libraries and importing outside libraries)

So I am still left with my original question, How do do you store MIDI CC macro mapping in Kontakt.

Like i said you store then the instrument or multi as a user file, then it should reopen with the mapping
