One of the main limitations of Massive X is it has no way to create your own banks so they tend to get lost in an ever expanding list of patches until the whole list becomes unnavigable. This even happens with third party banks whether free or commercial. Here's an example of what this looks like for most users with a patch I just downloaded from the MX user library
There is an app that can break this up into user banks - the dev originally created it for Komplete Kontrol and Maschine but I asked them to add support for Massive X since it was clear NI were not going to address this limitation anytime soon. The app is here:
So you can organise your banks into something more manageable as I have done with mine ('My Patches') and with this same patch as an example:
Unfortunately it is Mac only and although very cheap is not free but I am happy to convert anyone's contributions to the MX User Library if they ask me. Make one as your template for your own bank and then everything will be saved with that bank name and image. If you don't like the image you can swap it for any 72x72px png format image - just pop it into the ni resources/image/bankname folder
If anyone wants me to do this for them just let me have a copy of the patch and an image you want for the thumbnail
