Is anyone else experiencing their keyboard losing connectivity to their DAW. I'm using ableton and at times I have to reset the keyboard out of nowhere. Any thoughts on this? I've never had a keyboard that was this way.
I see you're on Mac. I have the same problem on Windows, but not with my MK3 controller. There's an issue with some hard drives on USB with this computer. They drop and the only way to reconnect is to de-power that USB port (I have buttons on that hub to enable/disable individual USB devices), and re-power it in order for Windows 11 to re-connect to that hard drive. Luckily, that doesn't happen to my MK3 controller, which runs off of a USB-C dock way over at the other side of the room.
99% of issues are resolved by replacing the usb-c cable, using a usb hub, or using an external power source. See troubleshooting guide for more info:
I initially had a problem with my S88MK3 due to the USB port on my computer not providing adequate power to the keyboard. I fixed this by providing power to my keyboard separately through a Samsung power adapter plugged into my Furman power supply and used a separate USB line to my computer for operations. Haven't had any problems since.
