I recently hopped on to this computer which I haven't used in maybe half a year or so. I'm pretty sure it used to work fine, but I did some windows updates and now I cannot get Battery to load whatsoever. If I open the VST in Reaper, it crashes Reaper entirely. If I open it as a standalone, the audio and midi settings dialog pops up but doesn't allow me to click anything, and then eventually dies completely saying Battery 4 isn't responding.
I saw a post elsewhere about repairing C++ redistributables. I've done so with everything from the 2012 through 2015 ones, restarted, to no avail. I've reinstalled Battery 4 three times now and I still am having the same issue. Any info would be much appreciated!
